ADMINISTRATION OF BUDDHIST TEMPLES AND PROPERTIES
The Administration of Buddhist Temples and Properties refers to the set of legal, managerial, and oversight functions carried out by the Department of Buddhist Affairs to ensure that temples, shrines, monasteries, and lands & other assets dedicated to the Buddhist Sasana are used, maintained, and regulated in accordance with law, tradition, and public interest. This includes both духовная (spiritual) and temporal (material) aspects: ensuring the upkeep of property, resolving disputes, appointing trustees, oversight of revenues & expenditures, and ensuring properties serve their intended purpose in perpetuity for the benefit of the Buddhasāsana.
