74th National Independence Day Buddhist Program

The 74th National Independence Day Buddhist Program was held on 04.02.2022 at the Abhayarama Viharaya, Narahenpita. Narahenpita Abhayaramadhipathi, Chief Sangha Leader of the Western Province, Vice Chancellor of the University of Colombo Ven. Murutthettuwe Ananda Nayaka Thero The special instruction of this religious program was given by the Chief Incumbent of Pepiliyana Sunethradevi Maha Pirivena, Prof. Ven. Medagoda Abhayatissa Thero. Hon. Namal Rajapaksa, Minister of Development Coordination and Supervision, Minister of Youth and Sports, Hon. Bandula Gunawardena, Minister of Trade, Prof. Deshabandu Kapila Gunawardena, Secretary to the Ministry of Buddha Sasana Religious and Cultural Affairs and a number of government officials and Buddhist devotees participated.
