Silmatha is a new training institute for education

Renovated Anuradhapura Arippuwa New Sangamitta Silmatha Training Institute based on the objective of developing the Tripitaka Dharma knowledge of the Venerable Silmanis who are engaged in the work of guiding the society in the right direction. The day was offered to the Sasana at an auspicious time at 11.30 am.

 

The Faculty of Education provides the opportunity for the monks to study the Tripitaka and its supervision, guidance and lectures are given by the lecturers of the Bhikku University, Anuradhapura. Activated as a residential course, it is open on weekdays from 1 p.m. It will be held from 8.00 am to 4.00 pm and only a maximum of 30 monks will be selected for each course.

Residential and all facilities are provided by the Department of Buddhist Affairs. This course aims to develop the knowledge of the Tripitaka of the Venerable Silmanis, to propagate the Dhamma using the learned Tripitaka Dhamma facts, to socialize the correct Tripitaka and to dispel misconceptions regarding the Tripitaka.
